Question: Tell me about yourself?
Response: Elevator pitch please. If you have not prepared your Elevator Pitch, do it NOW. See how to prepare an elevator pitch.
Notes: Generally, you always start with where you are from, your education, your jobs in chronological order highlighting your expertise and always close it with the details of your charity and sports roles. However, if the interviewer wants you to speak only about your experience, no problem, just choose those from your Elevator pitch.
Trap alert: Do not spend more than a minute or two on ‘tell me about yourself’ question. If you have your elevator pitch ready, this should not be difficult. If you are too lazy to prepare your elevator pitch then you will have to sweat a lot during any interview (as all of them invariably start with ‘tell me about yourself’).
